Sweet Sweet Sweet — Tyler & Sara Wedding : Vanderbilt Legends Club, Franklin, TN

Tyler & Sara — Oh Heavens, when I think of them the word that come to mind is SWEET!   They are quite possibly one of the sweetest couples I have ever met!  It’s easy to see where that comes from after spending time hanging with their families at the wedding… The apple doesn’t fall from the tree!

Their wedding took place on Jan 27th @ Vanderbilt Legends Club.  It turned out to be a beautiful day.  We found ourselves thankful for the unusual warmth in late January. We were able to spend quite a bit of time outside without completely freezing!

I love the spins that Sara put on her wedding day.  For something blue she had some material sewn into the inside of her wedding dress & tradition in her family is to wear a coin under your foot in your shoe for good luck (if I am remembering that right.)  Pretty awesome!

As a photographer I am always more than pleased when people decide to see themselves beforehand.  It takes so much stress off of them and they are able to just have fun and take photos.  I love the shots we got for their first look!

I definitely cannot forget to add this photo of her ADORABLE  flower girl AKA her niece!!!!

The ceremony took place right inside of the Vanderbilt Legends Clubhouse with about 75 of their closest families and friends.

&&&&&&&& then there comes the reception!!!!    What a fun time.  I even found myself singing along & dancing just slightly while snapping these photos below!

Sara decided to not do the bouquet toss, instead she gave her bouquet to her friend!

This boy is sure something precious & boy was he in a hurry to get into the world… NEARLY 2 MONTHS EARLY!!!!   He was ready to rock this world with his complete awesomeness!!!  With parents like his, this kid is destined for great things.  Everyone who knows his parents would say the same!  We took these photos back on Halloween day, hence the outfit!!!  He was about 1.5 months old.

HELP-PORTRAIT :: Helping People Have A MERRY CHRISTMAS : Franklin TN Photographer

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

I thought today would be the perfect day to share my experience with Help-Portrait.  I had the amazing opportunity to participate this year… If you don’t know about Help-Portrait the idea is beautifully simple & wonderful.

FIND SOMEONE IN NEED.  TAKE THEIR PORTRAIT.  PRINT THEIR PORTRAIT.   DELIVER THEIR PORTRAIT

The Franklin HELP-PORTRAIT event took event took place on Dec 10th @ Christ Community Church.  We had 14 photographers volunteer their time, 4 Make-Up/Hair Stylist and photographed over 50 families!!!

When I arrived on the scene I walked up to Evin from Evin Photography, who was setting up her gear, I asked her if we could work together and she said Yes.  HELP-PORTRAIT was such a beautiful thing to be a part of.  Some people were there getting portraits for the first time ever… others had a tragedy like their house burning down.  Some who had their portrait taken worked for Non-Profits, or were recovering from brain cancer.

After getting their portraits taken we asked people if they wanted to share their story or talk about what Help-Portrait meant to them.  So we printed off an additional photo & asked them to write with a sharpie— you can see some of their responses at the end.

Evans Family Strikes A Pose: Nashville TN Family Photographer

Oh the Evans family!!!!   This is my 3rd official time photographing this wonderful family this year. You can read the other 2 posts HERE & HERE.

This time they had a new addition… RICHIE!!!!   Yes you can call them CRAZY… TWO KIDS under the age of TWO… PLUS the teenage Jerilyn who is looking far too beautiful for her age!

Monica aka MOMMY is so good at color coordination.  She always dresses her kids in the cutest clothes.  Style is her middle name!

Looking forward to photographing the Evans family more in 2012!

Family Fun @ The Factory : Franklin-Nashville TN Family Photographer

YAHOO!  I took these photos last saturday at The Factory in Franklin, TN.  This was my first shoot with this family and it was a fun one!  Ronan 3 yrs old was full of energy which made me pumped up to take the photos.  I knew he was going to be a great subject to photograph.  I got some really fantastic photos of their family and Monica was the best assistant ever making the parents laugh by throwing out a good joke.  Thanks MON!   Enjoy the photos… comments always appreciated!

Tyler + Sara Engagement : Franklin TN Wedding / Engagement Photographer

This past Thursday was ENGAGEMENT photos for Tyler & Sara.  It was a rainy day in Franklin, TN but we faced it with a smile.  It’s hard not to smile around these two.  They are so sweet!  Tyler & Sara live in Kentucky, but are getting married in Franklin, TN in late January.  I had the pleasure of meeting Sara along with her parents a couple of weeks ago.  She was in search of a photographer for her wedding coming up and after meeting them I more than excited when they asked if that photographer could be me.  WAHOO!

Doggie Christmas with FEEBY ::: Nashville Pet Photographer

When my friend Clara asked if I could come photograph her new puppy I said HECK YES!!   When I arrived I was greeted by the cutest dog… FEEBY.  She is so adorable and had lots of energy!   We ended up using cheerios to coerce her into staying still for a photo… With the quick snap of the shutter I was able to capture this adorable dog in all of her glory!
