NARNIA REIMAGINED : Children’s Themed Shoot | Nashville, TN

It’s so exciting to see this shoot come together! Aimee Siegel of Aimee Siegel Creates and I have been hard at work over the past few months dreaming up this shoot. It’s so funny how we started with a completely different idea of 20’s theme to eventually landing on our mutual love tor C.S. Lewis and all things NARNIA!

We decided to base our shoot off of the book, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Aimee had the Amazing idea of picking out quotes from the book that we could base the shoot around. She even did amazing word art which you will see in the photos below.

We knew we wanted to create a more colorful version of the story. If you have ever read the book/seen the movie, much of it is muted colors/cold. We wanted BRIGHT/FUN! So we set out for thrifting/Hobby Lobby to get our supplies. Aimee pulled it all together and made some adorable props and I bought a couple too.

I found 3 adorable kids for our test shoot. It was a heat index of 100+ degrees the day we shot in my studio so you better believe they were excited about the 20+ gallons of fake snow, well except for Finnley, she was NOT having it. HA!
